These are my boots and I have had them for over 10 years and I stopped wearing them because my feet became flatter and the shoe fits a little narrow.
If I could wear these I would keep them, they were so nice to walk in and as you can see they still kept up, they never really got to worn, the sole is still almost new like. You can see the wear and tear of them in the pictures and the shoe laces are a little worn too.
As you know Timberland are great shoes and not cheap.
